Warley Road is looking for a new teacher, one who believes they can a make difference following the challenging circumstances children have faced.

Warley Road is on a journey and has exciting plans for the future, we want to keep moving forward by building firm foundations in teaching and learning and for this we need dedicated, adventurous and creative teachers.

We need a teacher with flexibility, drive and ambition who will support the attainment and progress of pupils in upper key stage 2.

Prospective candidates will be keen to join a growing and well-respected Multi Academy Trust which places the welfare and professional development needs of staff at the centre of all they do.

Warley Road Academy is a large school which, lies within Park Ward in Halifax. Our children come from a variety of cultural backgrounds with the vast majority of Pakistani heritage.

Warley Road is housed in an impressive Victorian building, which has seen a number of refurbishments and additions over the years. Newly developed spaces both inside and out seek to celebrate the buildings history alongside a deeper understanding and sense of pride in the local community.

A relatively new 2 year-old nursery and play area is situated off the main school site. A stilted dining room, MUGA and swimming pool ensures that pupils have access to good quality and varied facilities.

Applications are invited from experienced teachers who:

• Demonstrate initiative
• Contribute to whole school development priorities
• Take part in the full life of the school
