Learning Support Assistant
Band 5, SCP 6 (Term time only)
32.5 hours per week
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible.
Experience working as an Learning Support Assistant or similar experience working with children is required.
The role of the Learning Support Assistant is to complement & support the teacher with children's learning and behaviour management.

The successful candidate will have:
Resilience, patience, compassion and understanding
An ability to be proactive, creative and empathetic
To be able to follow detailed Behaviour Support Plans (BSP’s), whilst using your own initiative
Ability to adapt learning to increase interaction
Be flexible, positive and have a can-do attitude
Have a minimum of NVQ level 2 for Teaching Assistants/GCSE Grade C Maths & English (or equivalent) or have good levels of literacy and numeracy
Have the ability to work as part of, and contribute to the school team
