Vacancy Information

"Over the next two years, our Trust is set to open six new resourced provisions for children with high levels of additional needs, embedded within our mainstream schools. This growth is a key to our Trust strategy to shape education which anticipates children's needs and provides learning that is inclusive and liberating. We're looking for talented educators to join us to lead this work at school level who share our ambition to develop excellence in specialist inclusive education". Jenn Plews, Chief Executive, Northern Star Academies Trust.

We are delighted to share brand new opportunities for Specialist Resourced Provision Leads in 3 of our fantastic schools:

NSAT is a Trust of 15 schools, primary and secondary, across West and North Yorkshire.  You can find out more about our schools from our Trust website.

These roles are part of a strategic development within Northern Star Academies Trust to develop specialist provision within our mainstream schools to meet the needs of children with additional needs. The new provisions are funded by local authorities, who will also allocate places. [In Bradford local authority area these are known as "Resourced Provisions" (RPs), whilst in North Yorkshire local authority area, they are known as "Targeted Maintained Provisions" (TMPs)].

As a Trust we already operate Resourced Provisions at Denholme and Parkwood Primary Schools. In addition to the locations where we are recruiting now, in the next phase of this development we intend to develop provisions at Hookstone Chase Primary School (Harrogate), Harrogate High School and Greatwood Primary School (Skipton).
