Learning Support Assistants

The roles are temporary to cover maternity leave and one SEN Support which is fixed term linked to EHCP Funding

Salary: Band 4 - 5, Term Time Only

8:30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday

There are a number of positions available which require working as a class based LSA, and may also involve supporting pupils with additional needs within the class.

St. Stephen's is a Church of England school which serves a diverse community in West Bowling. Our pupils come from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, they are enthusiastic learners who deserve and respond to the best.

We are a vibrant, creative and aspirational school with a team of hard working and highly skilled staff and governors. We are looking to appoint experienced staff to support children in class as a learning support assistant, and where appropriate supporting children with Education Health and Care Plans and complex special educational needs, within the class.

You will provide educational and/or medical support to ensure the pupils successful engagement with and access to quality learning. This can also include intimate care for some pupils. Training will be provided if required.

The role will involve one-to-one and class-based support.
