Salary: PO2 - SCP 29 to 32 (Term time only salary £28,805 to £31,394)

Annual Equivalent £38,626 - £41,511

32.5 hours per week, term time only

We are currently looking for an approachable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working individual to join our support team. You will act as the School’s Social Worker. This is a position in which you can grow and develop, occupying a key role within the school. This is a challenging yet rewarding role working directly with children, parents/carers, focusing on offering support and developing your caseload to ensure best outcomes.

The successful applicant will:

  • Under general direction, from the Headteacher – Expectations & Ethos, provide a high quality and comprehensive social work service to children, their families and carers
  • Develop relationships with children and families in order to provide the best, high quality service
  • Contribute to the planning and developing of future services and policies to promote innovative ways of developing support to service users
  • Possess an appropriate social work professional qualification
  • Have a minimum of 12 months post qualification experience of working in a statutory setting
