Hirst Wood Nursery School & Children’s Centre offer high quality education for children aged 3 to 5 years. We are integral to our community, located in a wonderful 100 year old building within the world heritage site of Saltaire, surrounded by fantastic outdoor space including a wilderness garden as we are committed to learning through the outdoors and have a Forest School leader. 

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to work with our wonderful children and families. The posts offer an exciting opportunity for people with a passion for high quality inclusive early years education to join our team of enthusiastic, friendly colleagues. Our children are confident and keen to learn, enabled through fascination and creativity.  We recognise everyone’s uniqueness and everyone in our school is important and included. 

You will join experienced colleagues within a positive learning culture. We are reflective practitioners with a commitment to lifelong learning- both for children and ourselves through continuous professional development. We are justifiably proud of our school which continues to be rated Good by Ofsted (November 2018) and we warmly welcome applicants to come and look around to see us in action.Closin
