Salary/Grade: Band 5 scale points 4-6 FTE £21,189 to £21,968 pa FTE depending on experience. (Actual salary pro-rata which is £12,384 to £12,839 pa depending on experience & any continuous service)
Vacancy Information
The Medical Needs and Hospital Education Service provides education for all children of compulsory school age residing in the Bradford Local Authority area who cannot attend full time school due to health and medical needs.
Our provision is based at Owlet Road in Shipley. We also provide an outreach service teaching children in the home and other suitable venues as well as online learning.
We have a vacancy for an Education Engagement Worker to support our children and young people who are unable to attend school due to their health and medical needs.
The Education Engagement Worker will be centrally employed by Bradford Council Childrens’ Services subject to their terms and conditions and based in Owlet Road, Shipley.
The successful Education Engagement Worker will be able to effectively support learning and engage learners across the primary or the secondary age range.
