We are an expanding Multi-Academy Trust that currently includes eight primary academies, one all-through academy and a multi-site alternative provision Pupil Referral Unit. We also work closely alongside and in collaboration with a Local Authority maintained nursery, Canterbury Nursery School.
Exceed Academies Trust have an excellent reputation within the local and wider community and we are proud to lead the Bradford Teaching School Hub, supporting all schools in Bradford. We also boast an Outstanding SCITT provision as well as possessing an exceptional track record of supporting staff to grow and develop their careers through the Exceed Institute.
Due to the upcoming maternity leave of our current HR Advisor, Exceed Academies Trust would like to appoint a fixed term HR Advisor to work within the busy Central HR team based at the Trust head office at Horton Park Primary School in Bradford. However, this will be a hybrid role and will also involve regular travel to the academies within Exceed Academies Trust.
Supporting the current HR team, working alongside the Chief HR Officer and HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor will possess a wealth of experience and knowledge to accurately advise managers/leaders regarding discipline, attendance, performance and grievance, as well as payroll and contracts, health, wellbeing and engagement.
The role will be varied and interesting, there is never a dull day, and we support and coach each other through the challenges HR brings. If you are passionate about delivering a service that is flexible and solution-focussed, you will love working with us.
We are looking for someone with experience in a generalist HR role working with schools and academies, with a good understanding of teachers and support staff terms and conditions, as well as experience of dealing with complex casework. An understanding of payroll is also required.
An integral part of an outstanding HR team with an enviable reputation, this position is most suited to someone who truly wants to make a difference to the lives of the young people of Bradford. The right candidate will be a strong team player, proactive and innovative, with a desire to challenge the norm. Previous experience of managing HR casework is essential, as is a desire to provide the best possible HR support and advice to our schools.
