Hours Per Week: 32.5
Start Date: January 2027 (if possible)
As Curriculum Leader of Performing Arts, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and developing Drama and Music across the school. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and inspirational leader to drive excellence in teaching, learning and student outcomes, while fostering a vibrant culture of creativity, performance and participation.
The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Performing Arts department, leading curriculum development from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE and ensuring all students experience a challenging, engaging, and ambitious programme of study. You will support and develop colleagues within the department, monitor standards of teaching and achievement, and promote innovative approaches that inspire students to reach their full potential.
A key aspect of the role is leading and expanding the school's rich programme of productions, concerts, showcases and enrichment activities. You will champion the value of the arts across the school community, creating opportunities for students to develop confidence, resilience, collaboration and self-expression through performance. Working closely with students, staff and external partners, you will help build a thriving performing arts culture that enriches school life and enhances students' personal development.
This role suits an outstanding teacher with a passion for Drama, Music and the Performing Arts, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to raising achievement for all students.
