Bradford Cathedral is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Education & Visitor Assistant to help deliver inspiring learning and visitor experiences in one of Bradford's most significant historic and cultural landmarks.

Working with schools, families, community groups and visitors, you will support a growing programme of educational visits, activities and events that connect people with the Cathedral's rich heritage, stories and place at the heart of the city.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, particularly children and young people, and who wants to develop their experience in education, heritage, culture, visitor engagement or community learning.

The Role

You will work closely with the Director of Education and Visitors to:

• Support the planning and delivery of school visits, workshops and learning activities.
• Welcome and engage visitors, schools and community groups.
• Assist with family events and public programmes.
• Prepare resources and activity materials.
• Support administration, communications and record keeping.
• Gather feedback and help evaluate the impact of activities.
• Contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive and engaging visitor experience.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children, young people, visitors or community groups.
• Is organised, reliable and able to manage a range of tasks.
• Communicates confidently with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Has good administrative and IT skills.
• Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
• Has an interest in learning, heritage, culture or community engagement.

Experience in education, museums, heritage, youth work, visitor attractions, customer engagement or community projects would be advantageous, but we welcome applications from people with transferable skills and relevant experience.
