St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging teacher to teach in our year 2 classroom.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about early child development and can give our youngest children the very best start. You will be someone who can communicate well with parents and carers and is excited about being part of our team.

This role would be suitable for an ECT or an experienced teacher.

Our new Teacher will:

  • Have high aspirations for all children, themselves and a desire to raise standards.
  • Have the ability to enthuse, motivate and engage learners.
  • Have high expectations for the behaviour and wellbeing of children.
  • Be a reflective practitioner who works well with others.
  • Be supportive of our Catholic character so that we may live out our Vision and Intent.
  • Have the knowledge and skills necessary to plan an exceptional curriculum.

As a Primary school teacher you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who consistently demonstrates the highest standards of delivery. You should be fully committed to raising attainment across the whole school and across all subjects that you are required to teach. You will be acutely aware of the strategies required to achieve the highest standards across the curriculum.
