Computing and Media Faculty Technician

Band 5 (SCP 6), Actual Salary: £23,678 to £24,108  

37 hours per week, term time only + 10 days

We are looking to appoint a self-motivated individual to fully support the Computing, Business, Economics and Media (CBEM) Faculty in its day-to-day Teaching and Learning. The successful candidate will need to prioritise tasks to effectively support staff and pupils in achieving the best possible outcomes. It is essential that you have the confidence and expertise to support and inspire pupils in the classroom during Media Studies and Computing lessons.

This is an exciting and challenging role and the successful applicant will have strong practical skills, patience, a sense of humour and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be required to work on a wide variety of tasks, including after school events, across the school site and occasionally provide support to the school’s IT Operations team.

We are an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school that has outstanding facilities and a state-of-the-art learning environment; we are extremely popular and oversubscribed. The school is within easy reach of Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield and the surrounding district.
