An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed School Business Manager to join our wonderful staff team.

Vacancy Information

Russell Hall Primary School is looking to appoint a highly motivated and suitably experienced School Business Manager, to take responsibility for the planning, development and implementation of the financial and administrative services within school. As a vital part of the senior leadership team, you will lead on finance, HR, premises, health and safety and compliance to ensure that our school continues to thrive. The successful candidate will be joining a passionate and committed team, with a supportive Governing Body, and children who are happy and keen to learn.

We are looking for a School Business Manager who:

• Is friendly and approachable with a welcoming and professional manner
• Has proven experience of financial management, budget monitoring, health and safety and HR processes
• Can work strategically and proactively, reporting to the Headteacher and Governors
• Has excellent interpersonal skills, is highly motivated and has the ability to work well under pressure
• Demonstrates exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Is committed to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, compliance, and safeguarding
• Is able to manage competing demands calmly and professionally, prioritising their own workload
• Uses their own initiative to solve problems in a timely and efficient manner
• Is willing to be an integral part of the school, supporting and promoting our values
