Salary: SCP 7-11, £18,686 to £20,275 per year (actual)

Term Time Only, 31.25 hours per week

The Governors at St. Matthew’s Catholic Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our wonderful school as soon as possible. The right candidate will be committed to providing the best possible

As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference to the lives of our children and the community we serve.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and committed individual to join our team and support our pupils to learn, develop and thrive.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support pupils with their learning, engagement and wellbeing.
  • Build positive relationships with children and encourage them to achieve their best.
  • Help maintain a positive, safe and well-managed learning environment.
  • Support pupils with a range of individual needs, including emotional, behavioural and physical needs.
  • Use initiative and good judgement when responding to pupils’ needs and situations that arise during the school day.
  • Work closely and positively with teachers, support staff and other professionals.
  • Promote inclusion, equality and high expectations for all pupils.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life, ethos and values of our school.
