Idle Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and committed team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality early years education and care and who can support our youngest learners to thrive in a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Be capable of leading & supervising the class in the absence of the teacher.
  • Have experience of working with children in an early years setting.
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Be committed to supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work effectively as part of a team whilst also using their own initiative.
  • Share the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
