12.5 hours per week, 11am – 1.30pm, Monday – Friday

Salary: Band 6 point 7 – 11 (£7,474 - £7,967

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with primary-aged children (4–11 years).
  • Is confident building positive, trusting relationships with children.
  • Has knowledge or experience of OPAL or similar child-led play approaches.
  • Has experience of, or an interest in, Restorative Practice, Emotion Coaching or trauma-informed approaches.
  • Is organised, energetic and willing to be hands-on in setting up and maintaining play environments.
  • Brings creativity, humour and enthusiasm to every day.

What will the role involve?

  • Leading and facilitating high-quality play opportunities for children across the school over the lunchtime period.
  • Supporting children to develop positive relationships, resilience and independence through play.
  • Setting up and clearing away play resources each day.
  • Using restorative approaches and/or emotion coaching to support children in resolving difficulties and developing emotional regulation.
