Salary: Grade G SCP 13-18 £29,064 - £31,537 FTE (Actual Salary £22,989- £24,946)
Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only
Working pattern: Monday to Friday (8:00 - 3:30 or 8:30 - 4:00)

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven People Assistant to become a key part of our friendly and supportive People Team. You’ll be at the heart of our organisation - supporting colleagues across the Trust and helping ensure every stage of the employee journey runs seamlessly. From recruitment and onboarding to wellbeing and employee support, no two days will be the same.
As a People Assistant you will:
Support our people
- Act as a first point of contact for staff and managers
- Help manage absence processes and promoting staff wellbeing
- Maintain confidential employee records with care and accuracy
Deliver great recruitment experiences
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment campaigns
- Support safer recruitment practices
- Welcome new starters and ensuring smooth onboarding
Keep everything on track
- Manage People systems and support payroll processes
- Prepare contracts, letters and key documentation
- Assist with meetings, casework and employee relations processes

- Highly organised and detail-focused
- A confident communicator with great people skills
- Trustworthy and professional when handling sensitive information
- Able to juggle multiple priorities with ease
