The Lilycroft and St Edmund’s Nursery Schools’ Federation is seeking an experienced Nursery Teacher to join our exceptional team. Whilst predominantly based at Lilycroft Nursery School you will also work across the federation at St Edmund’s. As a teacher, you will be a mentor and a leader, driving pedagogical excellence at the forefront of Early Years Education in Bradford and beyond.
Our federation is a hub of innovation, hosting Birth-19; this encompasses our School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT), Apprenticeship Academy, Early Years Stronger Practice Hub, and 50 Things to Do Before You’re Five.
Our exciting, well designed spaces both inside and out, support an exceptional play-based curriculum and our excellent wellbeing package and training opportunities ensure that you will be supported to thrive alongside our children.
The successful candidate will:
Be an experienced enthusiastic and passionate nursery teacher with a positive, resilient outlook and a readiness to work hard within a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate a deep commitment to real inclusion and the ability to build respectful, professional relationships with children, families, and the staff team
Act as a pedagogical leader, mentoring colleagues and modeling high-quality early years practice
Be a calm, confident, and patient communicator capable of working effectively with diverse families and external agencies
Champion the federation’s vision of empowering every child to become an active contributor to an inclusive and compassionate world
