This is an exciting opportunity to teach in our specialist Resourced Provision and to support inclusive practice across the school. Working under the direction of the Head of School and alongside the Resource Provision Lead and SENDCo, you will:
- Support the leadership of teaching and learning within The Woods, delivering a personalised curriculum that also meets children’s social, communication and interaction needs.
- Plan, assess, record and report on children’s progress, ensuring ambitious targets and strong outcomes.
- Coach and support mainstream colleagues to build confidence and capacity for inclusion, modelling effective strategies such as visual supports, structured teaching and communication systems.
- Provide a safe, stimulating classroom environment, manage behaviour positively and support transitions and parental partnerships.
- Contribute to whole-school planning, assessment and resource management for a curriculum area.
