The Governors, Staff and Families of The Lilycroft and St Edmund’s Nursery Schools’ Federation are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and capable Senior Administrator (Finance) to join our administration team at St Edmund’s Nursery School.
As a Senior Finance Administrator, you will work as part of our friendly admin team. The role will be varied, including supervision of the admin team in the absence of the Senior Administrator (HR/admin), leading on the day to day finance functions across the business (including St Edmund’s and Lilycroft Nursery Schools, Bradford Birth To 19 and the SCITT), whilst supporting in health and safety and site matters. The role will involve working closely with and supporting the Executive Business Manager with budget management, procurement processes and other higher level responsibilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a strong administrative, financial background to move into a more senior role. The successful candidate will be committed to continuous improvement and professional development and will have the drive and ambition to take the role forward.
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience of using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and use of other databases
- Experience of FMS or a similar finance database
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as working alone
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Experience of, Finance, procurement and health and safety processes
- Experience of supervising staff
