The Governors are seeking to appoint a main scale teacher on a fixed term basis to start April 2026. The post will be a maternity cover in EYFS and for one year.
Keighley St Andrews CE is a forward thinking, innovative school with a strong and supportive team. This was recognised by Ofsted during the last inspection in May 2023 and SIAMS in October 2023, when the school achieved ‘Good’ in all areas. We are looking for a candidate who:
Is a qualified teacher with experience in EYFS
Demonstrates consistently good or outstanding practice
Has a passion for teaching and learning that is seen through quality first
Creative classroom teaching and pupil engagement
Will motivate children to work hard and try their best whilst modelling an infectious enthusiasm and passion for learning
Will work hard to ensure all pupils make at least expected progress irrespective of their starting point and individual needs
Will understand that behaviour management starts with the quality of teaching in the classroom
Will display a collaborative and caring approach to supporting pupils and colleagues
Has energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching and learning
