Salary: Band 5, SCP 5-6, pro rata

Are you passionate about helping children thrive in their learning? 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and friendly team.

This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in a nurturing and inclusive school environment, working closely with teachers and other staff to provide high-quality learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils individually and in small groups to help them access the curriculum

  • Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and delivering learning activities

  • Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' emotional and social development

  • Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour

  • Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable)

  • A patient, caring, and flexible approach to working with children

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A willingness to learn and undertake training as required
