Salary: Band 5, SCP 5-6, pro rata

Working Hours: 33 hours a week

Are you passionate about helping children thrive in their learning?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and friendly team.
This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in a nurturing and inclusive school environment, working closely with teachers and other staff to provide high-quality learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils individually and in small groups to help them access the curriculum
Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and delivering learning activities
Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' emotional and social development
Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour
Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience of working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable)
A patient, caring, and flexible approach to working with children
Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to learn and undertake training as required
