Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Salary Range: Grade 4 SCP10 – SCP12 (£27,694.00-£28,598.00 FTE) [Subject to job evaluation] Pro Rata salary £23,145.00 - £23,901.00
Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment.
Contract Type: Fixed Term up to 31 August 2026
Working Type: Part Time - 35 hours per week
Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team at Abbey Park Academy. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teaching and learning across the school, including delivering interventions and leading small group or whole-class sessions under the direction of the class teacher.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality education and care.
- Assist in planning, assessment, and the creation of engaging learning environments.
- Promote positive behaviour and support the emotional and social development of pupils.
- Provide targeted support for children with additional needs (SEND, EAL, etc.) as required.
