Pay Scale: SCP 5 (£5,614 - £5,715 per annum actual)

10 hours per week - TTO, 5 days a week (11:30am - 13:30pm)

We are looking for someone who:

  • Ideally has experience of working in a similar role.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team.
  • Is able to work on their own initiative, prioritising day to day work.
  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is committed to our Catholic vision and ethos.

Effort Demands:

  • Will supervise and engage children in safe, structured and stimulating play during lunchtimes and playtimes.
  • Will work under the supervision of the senior lunchtime supervisor or senior staff but will be expected to use initiative and build positive relationships with children.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up play areas that encourage children to develop through play.
  • Build strong relationships with children and respond to their needs.
  • Lead games and supervise children.
  • Encourage children to express themselves and talk about their worries.
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers and professionals.
  • Make sure children are safe and secure.
  • Deal with injuries and emergencies
  • Support classes with Forest School

We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard and as part of a team and for someone who will take pride in their work and our school.
