Vacancy Information

At Manningham Community Nursery Schools Federation we provide care and education for children from 2 to 5 years. We have a highly experienced, professional staff team across the organisation. We provide designated Early Years Enhanced Specialist Provision, supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities to achieve the very best they can. We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to join our highly successful, outstanding schools.

These posts will be supporting children across our mainstream and enhanced specialist provision classes.  You will support the room leader with planning and environment preparation and act as a key person. You will have a good understanding of the plan, do, review approach and be knowledgeable in the use of a variety of communication methods, such as Makaton. You will have knowledge of child development and demonstrate strong skills in supporting children to learn effectively.

The successful applicants will play an important role, working with colleagues to support children’s progress. They will be joining a team of knowledgeable, hardworking and highly motivated practitioners and will support them in ensuring high quality nursery provision. 

The right candidates will:

  • Have an understanding of how to enable young children to make the very best progress they can, including children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities.
  • Have the ability to build trust and strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Be able to work as a member of a team to support children and their families.
  • Provide and maintain stimulating learning environments for children both indoors and outdoors.
  • Have knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and contribute to planning the curriculum.
  • Have significant knowledge and experience of working with children with SEND.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, willing to respond to changes at short notice.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to have fun and play with children; noticing, interacting and extending their knowledge and skills at all times.
  • Be able to adhere to and follow the federation policies and procedures, demonstrating integrity and professionalism at all times.
  • Fully support and uphold the ethos and values of the federation; community, play and inclusivity.
