Salary: MPS/UPS (Plus TLR 2A for a Curriculum Lead)

Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 8:50am until 3:40pm.

Northern Star Academies Trust seek to recruit the very best people to work across our Trust Partnership. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified Chemistry teacher or Curriculum Leader to join our team on a fixed-term, part-time (0.8 FTE) basis to cover maternity leave (up to 12 months). The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in the academic, pastoral and social life of the school, to act as personal tutor and to take part in the school's programme of professional development. We offer a fantastic environment for a talented colleague to excel at the cutting edge of Chemistry teaching. 

You will be able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of teaching, learning and personalisation strategies and be responsible for maintaining the highest quality of monitoring and evaluating whilst improving the standard of achievement for all students. You will be confident in your abilities to teach effectively at all key stages and a specialism in Chemistry is essential. You will be adept in creating a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for students of all diverse backgrounds.
