Out of School Club Play Leader (Maternity Cover)

Salary: NJC - C1 (SCP 12-17)

This is a temporary contract to cover a maternity leave commencing 6th January 2025 and expected to last for a year. The role is 26 hours per week, all year round with Term Time hours as 7.15am – 9.30am and 2.30pm – 6.00pm (Monday – Friday) and Non Term Time hours to be agreed as per weekly rota.

St. Oswald’s C of E Primary School is a popular and successful school serving the community of Guiseley in Leeds. The Governors of our School are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Play Leader to lead and be responsible for the day to day organisation of the Out of School Club (Ozzie’s) at St. Oswald’s C of E Primary School.

The successful candidate will:

• Be passionate about working with children and caring in their approach to children.
• Be confident in building relationships with children and parents.
• Have NVQ level 3 in childcare/play work and with relevant experience.
• Be someone with good organisational, leadership and communication skills.
