The Governors at Wellington Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed, highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, supporting children of primary age.

You will need to:

  • Provide support to the teacher with the learning and personal development of a pupils in the classroom. You will enable them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them. 
  • Have a positive disposition and proven track record of maintaining positive and healthy relationships within a team
  • Have GCSE Maths and English, grade A-C (or equivalent)
  • Be creative and have the ability to engage, enthuse and stimulate children, both in and out of the classroom
  • Be committed to offering the very highest standards to our pupils and community
  • Have high expectations of pupils’ attainment and behaviour
  • Have excellent time management and organisational skills
