Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31 March 2025
Salary Range: Grade 3 SCP7 – SCP8 (£15,826.35 - £16,092.15 - this is the prorata salary)

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment

Working Type: Part Time 28 hours per week 39 weeks (45.942 paid weeks)
Base: Abbey Park Primary Academy, Keighley Close, Illingworth, Halifax, HX2 9DG

Please note:  the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Abbey Park Primary Academy is looking for a SEN Level 2 Teaching Assistant for our new SEN hub working both within the hub and across classrooms. The role involves providing support to pupils including those who have special needs, to promote inclusion and acceptance for all pupils and to build constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs.  The role would also involve encouraging pupils to interact with others and engage in activities lead by teachers.
