St John the Evangelist are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic school. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward thinking and inclusive school. The role will also include lunchtime duties, After School Club Supervision, supporting classroom cover and leading on interventions.

We are looking for a person who: 

• Has experience working with key stage 1 and key stage 2 children.
• Enjoys working with all children and has a good understanding of their needs.
• Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills and Phonics knowledge
• Is enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a team.
• Has high expectations in all learning
• Has experience of marking and supporting whole class teaching.
• Has an excellent work ethic
• Is kind and caring
