Saltaire Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join our passionate teaching team from September 2024 until August 2025.

As a Reception Teacher at Saltaire Primary School, you will play a pivotal role in the early development and education of our youngest learners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating engaging learning opportunities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Providing a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative and inclusive learning community.
  • Conducting ongoing assessment and observation to track student progress and tailor instruction to meet individual needs.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities and collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning.
