An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the SCIL Team as an SEMH Specialist Teacher. We are looking to appoint an experienced, knowledgeable and skilled teacher who is passionate about making a difference to the learning opportunities for children and young people with SEMH/Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the Bradford District.
You will work alongside key staff in schools to support them to identify and effectively support children and young people with SEMH through high quality teaching, reasonable adjustments and additional provision.
Experience of teaching children with SEMH and the ability to enhance teaching practice in mainstream schools is essential.

Responsibilities of the post include ensuring that the safety and welfare of children and young people is paramount by implementing the relevant safeguarding practice and policies and liaising with other council colleagues including the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) where appropriate.
