The Governing Body of Keighley St Andrew’s Church of England (Voluntary Aided) Primary School is seeking to appoint a transformational leader for the post of Headteacher. It is felt that the school is now in an excellent position to appoint a new Headteacher who can continue the good work, where “'Leaders have created an inclusive, nurturing and caring ethos in this warm and welcoming school. The school’s core values, which include trust, courage and compassion, are the foundations of this ethos. Staff are excellent role models and relationships between adults and pupils are respectful. Staff support each other and work very well as a team”. Our Ofsted inspection was in May 2023 with a strong good rating.
Keighley St Andrew's is a popular, warm, caring and vibrant 1 1/2 form entry Church of England School situated at the heart of a diverse, town centre community where most families live within walking distance and everyone is valued and encouraged to succeed. The population of the school reflects the population of the area with the majority of pupils from minority ethnic groups. The Christian ethos is foundational to the character and life of the school with our distinctive Christian vision and celebration of shared values, such as compassion, thankfulness, courage, peace, community and trust.
