Grade C Points 4 to 6 (£23,114 to £23,898 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata

The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £14,733.78

As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher. You will support pupils to ensure they can access learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

Southmere Primary Academy are looking to appoint a One-to-One Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our academy as soon as possible on a temporary basis.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher. You will support pupils to ensure they can access learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

Your new school

Southmere Primary Academy is a large primary academy with up to 420 pupils, including a 30 place nursery. The academy serves a diverse community with families from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
