The Governors at St. Matthew’s Catholic Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful school from January 2024.
The right candidate will be committed to providing the best possible outcomes for young children.
Vacancy Information
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant working in our school it’s essential that you have:
- A positive, caring and energetic ‘can-do’ attitude
- Experience of working successfully with children
- Achieved HLTA status/equivalent qualification or QTS
- Excellent Literacy, Maths and IT skills
- A positive approach to behaviour management and be highly motivated in caring for vulnerable children
- The ability to give feedback and support in order for children to make progress in their learning
- An understanding of how to safeguard children
- A genuine interest in aiding children’s development
