Russell Hall wish to appoint a Level 3 Cover Supervisor for Early Years.

Vacancy Information

We are looking for an indivual who:

  • Has a kind, caring and child focused approach to delivering the curriculum to Primary aged children
  • has proven experience of excellent classroom practice
  • can build positive relationships with parents and families
  • Is an excellent communicator who can work closely as part of a fun-loving team
  • can provide a stimulating climate for learning
  • have knowledge of how to support pupils with SEND and promote inclusion for all

To implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle as well as management/preparation of resources. This will be in conjunction with the class teacher/phase leader / other support staff.

You may also supervise whole classes normally up to a maximum of three days per absence during the short-term absence of teachers. The primary focus will be to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task. Cover Supervisors will need to respond to questions and generally assist pupils to undertake set activities.
