A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a 2 Yr Old Room Leader to join Copthorne Primary School.
Copthorne Primary School is a busy and vibrant 2 form entry primary school situated right in the heart of Bradford’s, culturally diverse, Great Horton area, just 10 minutes’ walk from the city centre.
We enjoy strong links with our parents and local community, offering a friendly, caring environment where staff and pupils alike are encouraged and supported to do their best.
Vacancy Information
Applicants must be committed to providing high quality provision for our children. In addition, the successful applicant will need a good understanding of the needs and development of young learners.
The successful applicant will need:
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
- High standards of English and Maths (minimum GCSE ‘C’ grade or equivalent)
- A calm and caring nature
- A flexible approach and the ability to use their initiative
- The ability to enthuse, inspire and lead a team of Early Years Practitioners and Support Workers
