Salary: £20,373 - £22,341 per annum (pay award pending)

Role Type: Fixed term contract to July 2024 (MAT cover)

Hours: 32. 5 per week, term time only plus 5 days

Chellow Heights is a generic special school catering for children with a wide range of learning, physical, medical, sensory, social, emotional and behavioural needs aged 2 to 11 years.

We are located across two sites, in BD9 (Heaton) and BD6 (Low Moor), and staff will be expected to work at either location.

The Behaviour Manager takes a lead role within the school over the two school sites to address the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning that supports and promotes an inclusive culture throughout the school, enabling all pupils to achieve their best, through learning and participation.

The role works in conjunction with the class Teacher, in planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes.

You will take a lead role in monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development in relation to accessing learning over both sites.
