Contract Type: Permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days

We are seeking to appoint an Alternative Provision Coordinator who can:

  • Develop, coordinate, deliver and quality assure a programme of on and offsite provision for a targeted  group of vulnerable students. 
  • Oversee and lead transition of students from mainstream lessons to the VLC, monitoring provision and identifying those whose needs are met by our complementary curriculums at KS3 and 4, working closely with SEND and pastoral teams. 
  • Oversee reintegration of students into mainstream where appropriate, ensuring the learning needs of the students are met to ensure their best possible outcomes.

Beckfoot Trust wishes to appoint an Alternative Provision Coordinator for our Beckfoot Thornton School who will collaborate with colleagues at other schools within the Trust. We are seeking an individual who has the experience, motivation, enthusiasm and skill set to work with the Pastoral Team and other stakeholders to help lead the future vision and development of the schools and the Trust.

We are looking for a highly ambitious candidate who can:

  • Develop, coordinate, deliver and quality assure a programme of on and offsite provision for a targeted  group of vulnerable students.
