Carrwood Primary School are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated Teaching Assistants to join our recently graded ‘Good’ school.

Teaching Assistants, 31.75 hours per week, fixed term until 31st August 2024

Band 5, SCP 4, required as soon as possible, or for September 2023.

The successful applicant will:

  • be educated to NVQ2 level for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications.
  • be qualified to GCSE level in English and Maths or have equivalent qualifications.
  • be creative and have the ability to engage and stimulate children, in the classroom and during play.
  • be committed to raising standards.
  • have high expectations of pupils’ attainment and behaviour.
  • be flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • have an understanding of safeguarding and follow the school's safeguarding policy.
