The Priestley Academy Trust is a group of six primary schools close to the city centre of Bradford, West Yorkshire. We are a dedicated and hardworking Trust and we aim to be at the forefront of new initiatives to raise standards and broaden the range of experiences for our pupils.

We are now looking for an outstanding leader who is a highly motivated person with successful leadership experience. You will be committed to providing the best opportunities and achieving the best possible outcomes for our children and community. 

You will work closely with our other three assistant heads of phase and will cover 2 academic year groups and six classes. The Senior Leadership Team is an enthusiastic and committed team who work together, supporting each other to make Margaret McMillan a great place to learn and work.

Our popular three-form entry school is seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher of Phase (the phase and subject responsibility is open to negotiation).

We are looking for a high-quality professional who will:

• Hold QTS
• Be an excellent role model of teaching and learning
• Be able to motivate and lead a team
• Contribute to whole school evaluation, monitoring and development
• Be an appraiser for their team
• Attend Senior Leadership Team meetings on a regular basis
