Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Permanent- Full Time
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed member of staff to join our motivated and highly professional team of HLTA’s.
Vacancy Information
You will be:
- Either qualified to HLTA level or cover supervisor and willing to immediately train to be HLTA.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to deliver lesson plans effectively.
- Flexible and confident to undertake work at short notice.
- Confident to provide cover across the age range.
The successful candidate will:
- Actively support the ethos, educational vision, policies and direction of the school.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom practice
- Have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour.
- Have a good working knowledge of AFL and active, independent learning
- Be enthusiastic and flexible
- Be creative and able to motivate all children
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- An interest in Music or PE would be desirable
- Willing to train as a first aider and fire marshal
