Vacancy Information
To enable learning and development of pupils with complex additional needs to allow them to access learning as part of a teacher planned approach, either with groups of pupils or individual pupils on a one to one basis. To support the class teacher in a range of teaching and learning experiences which deliver an appropriately differentiated and suitably challenging creative curriculum for all pupils. To assist the team in ongoing assessment which will inform planning and provision.
It is essential that applicants have appropriate literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths grades A-C or the equivalent) and have extensive experience of working with children who have complex needs in a school or other organisation.
We are looking for applicants who:
- Enjoy working with children and can bring out the best in them
- Have achieved a Level 2 qualification or equivalent
- Have excellent ICT skills
- Have a consistently positive approach to behaviour management
- Have a positive impact on the progress and attainment of children
- Have extensive experience of supporting children with complex additional needs
- Be creative and can contribute to the school’s overall vision and aims
- Have a good standard of English and Maths (GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent)
- Good team players with a sense of humour.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate patience, perseverance and a flair for innovation and creativity in order to bring out the best in our children. We want to make learning irresistible for our children, families and staff. The successful candidates will join a highly skilled and flexible team who will work both in the classroom and with individual pupils across our 2 school sites.
