SEND Teacher for School Led Amelia’s Resourced Provision (ARP - formerly DSP)

Salary : MPS/UPS + TLR 2a

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic full-time teacher for our School Led Cognition and Learning Resource Provision. This is a 30-placement setting for pupils with complex learning difficulties. The successful candidate will work with pupils with a range of Special Educational needs and will join a team of professionals with a high level of commitment to ensure our pupils reach their full potential.

This post is particularly suitable for an inspiring practitioner who can teach across the curriculum and has experience of teaching the KS1 Primary National Curriculum. You will be expected to: demonstrate competency in using a range of teaching strategies to engage and encourage SEN pupils to succeed both academically and personally, develop a strong understanding of the unique needs of each pupil and take the individual learning requirements of each pupil into consideration when teaching within the Resourced Provision and make a significant contribution towards raising achievement and standards for pupils with an EHCP.
