Vacancy Summary

Nurture Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Contract: Permanent, 32.5 hours per week, TTO plus 3 days, Band 8

We are delighted to be able to recruit an enthusiastic practitioner to work under the leadership of our SENCO with responsibility for leading Nurture provision.  We are looking for an individual who is passionate about inclusion and committed to meeting the needs of all children.

The aim of this provision is to replace missing early experiences by developing positive pupil relationships with teachers and peers in a supportive environment.  Effective nurture group practice follows the six principles of nurture.  We have recently moved from using Boxall© profiling to the Thrive© Approach.  This enables us to identify pupils that require the nurture provision based on their social, emotional, and mental health needs and assess against this regularly to plan next steps.
