Band 5 SCP 4-6 

31 hours per week

Term time only plus 5 training days

Monday 8.40am - 4.15pm, Tuesday - Friday 8.40am - 3.10pm

The Governing Body of Beechcliffe School is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated SNTA’s to work at our secondary, generic, special school at our Keighley site.

Our SNTA's play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of our youngsters, and assisting our teachers in the classroom and beyond.

You must be flexible, adaptable and willing to work with a range of pupils, with complex profound needs, autism, additional sensory processing needs and challenging behaviours. The work can be physically and emotionally challenging and it is essential therefore that you are emotionally resilient and physically able to meet the demands of the posts. 

If successful, you will join a highly experienced team and will receive support and training whilst working with us. 

You must be fluent in English – The Immigration Act 2016 has introduced a new requirement for public authorities from October 2016 to ensure that workers in customer facing roles speak fluent English. This is a statutory requirement. 

Beechcliffe School is committed to safeguarding children and young people and all posts are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, appropriate references, and 3-month probationary period. 

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required.
