Two Positions available, but would consider one person to take up both roles.
Vacancy 1 - TTO Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday 6.15am to 9.30am and Friday 6.30am to 9.300am
Vacancy 2 - All Year Round Monday to Thursday 2.45pm to 6.00pm and Friday 2.00pm to 5.00pm (negotiable hours during the school holidays)
Salary: Band 1, SCP1
The Governing Body of Beechcliffe School, Thackley are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated cleaner.
Vacancy Information
An opportunity has arisen for a flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly committed School Cleaner to be responsible for the cleanliness of the school.
You will be an important member of the school team and have a positive approach to this key role. You will be required to clean the building delivering a range of cleaning services for the benefit of pupils, parent/carers and staff. Previous experience of this type of word would be advantageous, but ideally we are looking for someone with interest and high degree of commitment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff, pupils and visitors, who is reliable, punctual.
Essential qualities for all applicants include:
- Previous experience as a professional cleaner
- Have good knowledge of health and safety procedures including COSHH and Manual Handling
- Be committed to the ethos and culture of Beechliffe School, Thackley
- Secure and thorough

The successful candidate must be fluent in English – The Immigration Act 2016 has introduced a new requirement for public authorities from October 2016 to ensure that workers in customer facing roles speak fluent English. This is a statutory requirement.
