Vacancy Information

We are looking for someone dynamic, creative and efficient - demonstrating excellent leadership and management skills and a passion for working with children in Early Years.  The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork.  This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the leadership of our school.

The successful candidate will be joining an experienced and effective leadership team of Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, two other phase Assistant Headteachers, Assistant Headteacher responsible for SEND and Inclusion and a TLR postholder for Pedagogy.  We take leadership training seriously here at Swain House and the number of our leaders who move onwards and upwards is testament to that.  The last five Deputy Heads here have all moved onto Headship and the three Assistant Headteachers who have left our school recently all moved to Deputy Headteacher posts.

We have a Resourced Provision (RP) for Deaf pupils which provides outstanding teaching and learning for Deaf pupils from across the district.  Staff working in the RP are part of the Sensory Service.
