An opportunity has arisen for 2 x Level 3 (or higher) SEMH Teaching Assistants to join Ben Rhydding Primary School.

We are looking to recruit 2 x Level 3 (or higher) Teaching Assistants with a background in supporting pupils with complex SEND and SEMH needs. You will be working alongside a specialist teacher and the school SENDCO, as part of a team to support and manage challenging pupil behaviours and complex learning needs. This will include being familiar with and confident in delivering a range of de-escalation strategies and techniques.
The successful candidates will be able to establish excellent relationships with pupils who face significant barriers to their learning.

Although for the summer term only, the post is very rewarding and is ideal for people who have SEND/SEMH experience and are looking to take their next step. If you are passionate about supporting pupils with complex SEND and SEMH needs, then this job would be ideal for you.
