The Governing Body of Beechcliffe School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher to work at our secondary, generic special schools.

The successful candidate must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to work with a range of pupils, with Autism, addition sensory processing needs, social, emotional, mental health needs, and challenging behaviours.  

The post holder in additional to daily AHT duties  will lead and support all aspects of behaviour, teaching, learning and achievement throughout the school.The work can be physically and emotionally challenging and it is essential therefore that the successful candidates are emotionally resilient and physically able to meet the demands of the posts.

The successful candidates will join a highly experienced team and will receive support and training whilst working with us.  

The successful candidate must be fluent in English – The Immigration Act 2016 has introduced a new requirement for public authorities from October 2016 to ensure that workers in customer facing roles speak fluent English. This is a statutory requirement.
